About Cricket Analyst
Cricket Analyst is an independent cricket research project. The aim is simple: use data to settle the arguments that cricket fans have always had about the greatest players, teams and eras, and show the working.
What you will find here
- Original analysis. Era-adjusted comparisons, all-time XIs and records, built from our own calculations.
- The full video versions on the Cricket Analyst YouTube channel, with charts and the debate.
- A newsletter that sends new research when it is published.
How the research is made
The statistics come from public cricket records (see data sources). The analysis, rankings and write-ups are our own work, and we explain the method in each article so you can disagree with it.
